The Office for Retired Staff is the department responsible for the coordination, service and management for retired employees of the CCPIT. Its main responsibilities include:

1. Implement party and national policies associated with retiring and retired staff, provide policy consultation and guidance, receive letters and visits from retired staff, conduct research and policy promotion for retired staff; 

2.Formulate rules and regulations on the work of retired staff of the CCPIT; 

3. Construct party branch and organize political studies and other party affairs for retired staff; 

4. Collect and report the budget, information, salary and pensions of CCPIT retired staff; 

5. Provide medical and health services for retired staff, including body check, hospitalization service, hospital visit, medical costs reimbursements and funeral arrangements; visit retired staff on frequent basis to know of their living and health conditions; visit retired staff on big holidays; 

6. Arrange travel and tourism services for retired staff; 7. Manage the activity center and organize entertainment, sports and health activities for retired staff; 8. Other work assignments from the CCPIT leaders.
