Ke Liangdong, Vice Chairman of  the CCPIT

Ke Liangdong, male, Han ethnicity, was born in July 1963 in Daye, Hubei Province. He started his career in July 1985 and joined the CPC in April 1989. He holds a PhD degree in Criminal Law from Wuhan University School of Law.

He worked successively as Deputy Division Director, Division Director, and Deputy Director General at the Department of Legal Affairs of the Ministry of Public Security, and Deputy Director General and Director General of the Bureau of Legal Affairs of the Ministry of Public Security. In March 2018, Ke was appointed Deputy Secretary General of the Standing Committee of the 13th National People’s Congress and member of the CPC Leadership Group of the General Office of the NPC Standing Committee.

Ke Liangdong has been a member of the CPC Leadership Group and Vice Chairman of the CCPIT (with vice-minister level entitlements retained) since January 2020.
